University Wish List

The point I'm going to university in less than 17 weeks terrifies me and excites me all at the same time. It's going to be a mix of emotions and one hell of a roller coaster (check out that cliché) considering I've only left my family for one week at the most.  And that was only on a girls holiday to Zante, awrh teenage independency at its finest; imagine cheap booze, chips and cheeky boys. The most growing up I did that holiday consisted of looking after my own money, applying sun cream and hiding my passport in the hotel room holy bible!

A year on and I'm finally flying the nest I like to think of myself as a Carrie Bradshaw in the making, but more adaptable as I will not only use the oven for wardrobe space but also my dishwasher. OK I joke, I'm actually a dab hand at cooking and don't mind a challenge or two - my Mother would totally disagree but what does she know.

Back to the point, which I haven't even addressed in the last three paragraphs of rambling, this post will feature a few necessities I'll be hoping to take to University with me.

The bookends are so pretty and and these would look great on a shelf adding a personal touch which I love. I know I'm rather late with the Moustache band waggon, but I never really got it, until I saw these mugs. Just a bit of  cute novelty fun and who doesn't love a cuppa? Now this print by Hanna Melin is SO me, I'm a sucker for a 90's grunge daisy and I really really want this! The only thing in my way is the £24.99 price tag yikes! If you couldn't tell from the style of the post some like to say I'm tad like a drama queen; but I really don't see it ;) this hot water bottle would be perfect for those homesick days. Wicker baskets are a great way to store your stuff if like me you're a bit of a hoarder these baskets are great to store away necessary bits n bobs. It's always been a passion of mine to see the world, looking at all the countries on this laundry bag will be great way to pass the time , when I'm stuck at the laundrette. I understand how this eye mask can be taken in offence, but to me it's just a little tongue and cheek. As I've never even been a morning person and I can't function before 10am! Finally this Parisian bedding from Next is so beautiful, I love themed rooms so I will definitely be taking inspiration from this.
